Marc Dumon – Partner, Dumon Partners

Marc Dumon is a partner at Dumon Partners. He has been practising law for more than thirty years, beginning his career at KPMG in Paris, where he focused on the taxation of transactions and financial products. He later joined CMC in Paris, where he developed a practice spanning corporate law, mergers and acquisitions, private equity, tax and related litigation. During the period of intense market activity surrounding the Internet bubble, he advised on numerous IPOs and private equity transactions, strengthening a transactional expertise built on high-stakes matters.

He subsequently joined the INTEGRA group as Deputy Chief Executive Officer, an experience that provided him with an intimate understanding of how listed companies operate, the strategic constraints they face and the structural decisions required for their development. This operational immersion has shaped his approach to transactions, which he conducts with a resolutely business-oriented perspective, close attention to economic drivers and a direct understanding of management expectations.

Marc returned to legal practice in 2003 and founded the Paris-based firm CMD in 2005. He has since pursued a demanding practice characterised by pragmatism, precision and a steadfast commitment to his clients. Known for his determination and loyalty, he handles negotiations and complex transactions with a constant focus on efficiency, particularly in his core areas: corporate law, mergers and acquisitions, taxation and business litigation.

Drawing on his long-standing practice of combat sports and his experience as an officer in the special forces, he naturally applies discipline, composure and resilience to the management of strategic matters and high-intensity transactional situation.
